Supervision details
I offer a free 10 minute chat on the phone at a mutually convenient time. You may then choose to make an initial appointment for a one hour introductory session, for which I charge £45. After that meeting we decide whether we are suitable to work together. Subsequent sessions may be on line, with at least one face to face each year. I believe supervision should be a balance of refreshing and stimulating experiences in a safe place.
As a qualified, experienced supervisor I aim to provide you with opportunities to: Develop your self awareness and have space to re-charge batteries;
Have regular support in an atmosphere of integrity and openness; Identify areas in which to enhance your effectiveness;Consider ethical issues and boundaries; Seek help with any decision making necessary (I am available by phone between sessions).
I encourage supervisees to develop as reflective practitioners. As well as careful listening and discussion of theories, I can offer the occasional use of creative methods such as art work, stories and use of a sand tray to explore situations. These methods may help you to deepen your understanding of the therapeutic process and to make use of both thoughts and feelings in your work with your clients. They can also lighten a tense situation.
I charge £60 for 1.5 hours.
