Random Acts of Kindness Week

Random Acts of Kindness WeekThis week celebrates all those moments when humankind is nice for seemingly no reason. We love this idea - after all, why should you wait for a birthday or mothers/fathers day to show your appreciation of those you love?

Random Acts of Kindness Week implores us to spread a little kindness.

This could mean doing some housework as a treat for your other half, baking some cakes for your colleagues or even a simple smile to someone on the street.

These acts may seem small, but they can be significant.

Showing people you care can restore their faith in humanity and make their day. If that person suffers from depression, anxiety or is particularly stressed, your simple act of kindness could truly mean the world to them.

The quote we've included in our image from Oscar Wilde really says it all - no matter how small that act of kindness, it is often far greater than the greatest intention. This week we're asking you to join in on the fun and do something kind for no reason.
