Stress At Work

When work becomes your life and your stress levels are crying for help, it is time to stand back and take a deep breath.

Worrying and stressing all the time can lead to lots of mental health problems.

Are you saying “I don’t have enough hours in the day” and is work taking over your life!

Be honest with yourself if the answer is yes then it is time for change.

It is about balancing your life to suit your needs, ask your self a few simple questions.

  • What do I want?
  • What do I need?
  • What would make me happy?
  • How can I achieve this?
  • Is it realistic?

We all want to win the lottery but we can’t put life on hold until it happens!

I saw a picture today of David Cameron and Barack Obama at a game, they looked chilled and relaxed eating food and watching the match.

Two powerful leaders who have found time to take time out, do you ever do this?

It may be hard at first but life time changes are in order, at the weekend turn off your phone, don’t check your emails. Find a hobby, engage with friends. Put activities back in your life beyond work!

Make a plan of what you would like to achieve, this could be organising your garden for summer or learning to play golf, seeing your friends more, joining a gym, jogging.

Keep your goals clear, you must make time for you, because if you don’t no one else will, and you are worth it.
