Benefits of Mindfulness Meditation

It's been confirmed that meditation stimulates the serotonin in the brain, it's because of this, it prevents depression. Meditation increases the grey matter, and thanks to this we are much more likely to think clearly and assimilate knowledge.

It's been proven that meditation delays the onset of Alzheimer's by 8-10 years, even in those of us more prone to the illness genetically. Meditation also reduces stress and anxiety in sensible and manageable ways.

The left hemisphere of the brain, which is responsible for emotions, functions better so we experience more positive emotions - thanks to this we feel happier.
