About me

I offer psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups. I also work as a consultant to teams, and supervise other psychotherapists. I am co-director of  the London Centre for Psychodrama Group and Individual Psychotherapy, a UKCP registered psychotherapy training which runs from Family Futures in N1.. We also run a UKCP recognised one year diploma training in creative supervision. For more information about our weekend and longer courses see our website at www.londoncentreforpsychodrama.org

All potential clients come for an initial assessment session where we can explore the reasons for your seeking counselling or psychotherapy and the best format for this to take place. I am able to offer time limited short term programmes of sessions, long term and open ended psychotherapy, weekly group psychotherapy and weekend psychodrama experiential workshops.

My recent book One to One Psychodrama Psychotherapy, Applications and Technique (Routledge 2019) gives an idea of how creative elements from psychodrama are integrated into my work. I co-edited Trauma in the Creative and Embodied Therapies (Routledge 2020) focusing on a timely theme.

Contact me in confidence for more information about my services, or to arrange an initial consultation.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
