About me

I am a professionally qualified and experienced therapist located near Rickinghall on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. I can provide you with a safe and confidential space in which to talk about and explore the issues which are troubling you.

I offer open-ended therapy as well as time-limited therapy. Ongoing sessions last for 50 minutes.

As well as working with clients in-person from my practice near Rickinghall, I also offer therapy by telephone and online  via Zoom. Even before the onset of Covid-19, which has had profound changes on the way we live and work, many people were finding that due to personal circumstances, whether travelling for work, living in remote locations or on the road, mobility and health issues, it wasn't possible to attend a therapist’s office on a weekly basis.

During the initial consultation we would discuss your reasons for seeking help and you would have the opportunity to ask any questions about what happens in therapy and raise any concerns. This initial session would also give us the opportunity to think about working together. You are under no obligation to continue with therapy with me after the initial consulation if you choose not to do so.

If you would like to find out more about my services, ask any questions, or arrange an initial consultation, please contact me by email.

How Can Therapy Help?
Many people experience emotional distress at some time in their lives or are faced with situations where they need some professional help in making sense of and resolving their difficulties. However, taking that first step to talk though your issues with a therapist can be a very daunting prospect and it is important to find someone you feel comfortable with and able to work with.

Painful life events or personal problems suffered in relationships, careers, health or family life can prompt people to seek therapy. Problems and difficulties that are not addressed are unlikely to disappear by themselves and talking through your issues with a well trained and experienced therapist can help you to find new ways of thinking and feeling which can lead to insight and change.

In addition, I have an MA in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice from Roehampton University.
