Zoom workshop: Exploring the dynamics of attachment in adult life
This powerful experiential offers participants the opportunity to explore the way they relate to themselves, others and their environment, specifically their care-seeking and caregiving attachment systems.
There will be a short theoretical input on Una McCluskey’s attachment systems followed by exploratory group work.
To be eligible to attend this course, you need to have done some form of personal development/reflection work such as therapy, yoga or mindfulness. It is not suitable for anyone who has experienced any significant life events recently, such as a bereavement - do contact me if you are unsure if this is the right time for you.
I will send you an application form once I receive your booking.
Previous participants of the group experience have said:
- "Working in a group hugely opened up my exploration."
- "Such an amazing method and experience."
- "I feel so nourished by this experience."
- "I am usually really frightened to participate in groups but these groups generate an incredibly safe environment."
The ongoing evening group for 2024 starts April 3rd and the first Wednesday of the month thereafter. St Michael's Centre, Abergavenny, 6-8.15 pm. Working through each of the seven attachment systems (care seeking, caregiving, fear/self-defence, internal environment, external environment, sexual, interest sharing) sequentially, with a review session in month eight. Cost: £280 (£35 per session).
I am also collecting interest for an ongoing Zoom group - drop me an email to express interest.
