Hi and welcome to this Young Adult Bereavement Support network.

My name is Laurie and I have started this group as a way for young adults to access bereavement peer support and resources.

Accessible for anyone:

  • Aged 18-30.
  • Who has experienced a bereavement (doesn't have to be recent and could have occurred before they were 18).
  • Has had the unimaginable news that someone close is terminally ill and is experiencing anticipatory grief.
  • Would like to connect with others of a similar age who have experienced loss.

Hosted by Laurie Hole

I often work with bereaved young adults who are attempting to navigate other life transitions whilst grieving. I often hear how isolating it can feel particularly if friends haven't experienced something similar and I hope this group helps bereaved young adults connect with each other.
