Yoga for anxiety
Resiliana is offering a therapeutic yoga course to help individuals manage their stress and anxiety.
This program will take place every Tuesday evening over eight weeks and will use techniques developed by the Minded Institute, which are evidence-based and grounded in knowledge of neuroscience, psychotherapeutic principles, yoga therapy and mindfulness.
The course will teach various breathing techniques to help calm the nervous system. Mindfulness techniques will be taught to support a greater ability to regulate anxious thoughts.
By applying these approaches in combination with yoga asanas, the students develop greater resilience against anxious states.
