Workshop to explore using images with clients

The workshop is limited to six participants as the work can get personal and deep quite quickly. Participants need to be counsellors, psychotherapists, or therapists - trainees or qualified.

We will explore our experiences of working with images with clients and ourselves. The workshop will be interactive, working in pairs and the whole group. We will use my Lovelli Therapy Cards in the initial sessions and then move onto using images we find from magazines and postcards etc.

The workshop will run for three hours with a short break around 11.30am. In the second half we will look at the concept of Visual Shortcuts and how we can work with them within counselling. The idea is to help the client 'earth' the issues and realisations so helping them to focus and resolve their problems.

Previous participants have particularly enjoyed the interactive nature of the workshop and the pleasure of working with fellow therapists.
