Working with the 'whole' when the dynamics tear us apart
This is a one-day workshop run by Debbie Lee involving the whole group thinking interactively about the systems surrounding our client. It's a really enriching way to think about our clients' relationships from a new perspective and promises to be a fun and fascinating day.
Throughout the day we will be developing a more embodied way of therapeutically thinking about the systemic surroundings of our clients. Debbie will be using active teaching methods (promise this is not scary) to enrich the learning process, making for an interactive day. This does not mean everyone will be doing 'roleplay as you know it'.
The psychodramatic techniques Debbie will be using, sharing and teaching require no acting skill or ability, in fact often acting skills can hinder the process! Being a more instinctive process than derived, it can be a powerful tool for the therapist and client.
Debbie is a trainer who is sensitive to the whole group and will take this session at the pace that is required for the day by the group. There will be an opportunity to work directly on their own clients should people want to.
