We are a nation of animal lovers, which is why it’s important to understand how best to support people in times of loss and bereavement, especially around the time of losing a pet.

The training looks at:

  • the way pet loss of perceived in society
  • supporting yourself and others
  • a number of grief theories
  • grief and the brain
  • remembrance and rituals
  • supporting other pets in the home
  • self-care    

Aimed at therapists who would like to understand and best support people in times of loss, especially around the loss of animals.
