Working with gender diverse children and young people by Philippa Beale
52/53 High Street
Why attend this workshop?
This workshop will provide practitioners with the knowledge and skills to work successfully with gender diverse children and young people.
What will it cover?
The workshop will enable you to develop an understanding of the range of ways that young people identify their gender; information about how gender develops; and an opportunity to explore the dilemmas and difficulties facing young people identifying in gender variant ways. Practitioners will come away feeling more confident about their skills in working with these children and young people and their families, and with knowledge about other services that exist to support their work.
Who is this training for?
The workshop will be relevant for counsellors, social workers, teachers, psychotherapists, and anyone likely to work with gender diverse children and young people.
