Working on dreams - a Gestalt approach with live demos
CPD with live demonstrations
Alan’s approach to dreams is viewing them as one of the most spontaneous expressions of human existence, every aspect of them is a personal road to self-discovery. In this highly experiential workshop, you’ll examine the practice of working with the meaning of dreams from a phenomenological standpoint.
- Learn about narrative enquiry as an entry point to dream work.
- Look at techniques for the ‘here and now’ exploration of dreams.
- Draw on insights from metaphor-based practice.
Explore how to work with dreams within this non-interpretative framework with live work demonstrations.
A one-day workshop (refreshments and cake provided – bring packed lunch or cafes/restaurants available very nearby).

'I really enjoyed the workshop - I was so happy to be able to have first-hand experience exploring my dreams. I never for one minute thought I would be overcome with all that emotion. It was such a powerful experience, I can only hope that I can be that successful with my clients one day.’
'Still picking my jaw up off the floor from Saturday! Amazing new dimension to therapy discovered for me... can't wait to discover more!’
