What Makes You Happy? Explore and celebrate this in this fortnightly Happiness Group
Do you really want your life to be happier but not sure how to start?
Are you looking for something fun and different to do that will also help you make new friends?
Do you want to share ideas about books, films, places, people and anything and everything else that has inspired and uplifted you?
Would you like to be able to ‘count your blessings’and feel grateful for the ‘little things?’
Then how about joining me in a group to do just that!
This group was inspired by Gretchen Reuben’s The Happiness Project (www. Happinessproject.com) Although Gretchen had everything she wanted in life she felt something was missing – and decided therefore to consciously discover what made her happy and to celebrate and be grateful for that.
This struck me as a fantastic idea! I am forming this group around sharing and exploring what makes us happy (and what doesn’t), and celebrating that.
Although I am a therapist, this is NOT a therapy group – it is a place to explore, share and appreciate what enables us to feel happy – the aim of the group is to leave each time feeling uplifted.
Food and drinks will be provided each time we meet, along with suggested books to read, things to do and ways to feel happier!
WHEN: Alternate Tuesday afternoons 1-2.30pm (babies and toddlers welcome for this group as long as they’re not going to disrupt the group)and Thursday evenings 6-7.30pm
WHERE: Lady Bay, West Bridgford
PRICE: £10 per fortnightly meeting. That’s £5 per week or 71p per day – a small price to pay in order to feel happier with your lot!
