What is mindfulness - a taster session
This two hour free event is being hosted by Emma Dunn, a mindfulness instructor and psychotherapist.
It is for those who want to know about mindfulness but don't know where to start. Emma is offering the opportunity to experience led meditations in a calm informal environment. There will be some teaching about the history of mindfulness as it is used in treating stress and anxiety.
Mindfulness evolves from a Buddhist tradition and she will explore how Buddhist ideas are incorporated into mindfulness.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
