Wellness matters

Is it really possible to make use of anxiety? Join us and learn more on how to manage your anxiety!

We believe everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life, whether it is about preparing for a job interview, becoming a first time parent and managing and juggling family life for the first time, the prospect of parenthood, children leaving home or growing of age and unable to do things as you once could or juggling work and education life balance. All which can create a sense of anxiety in us all at different stages of our lives as individuals.

We often associate anxiety with alterations to our mental state and experience a sense of worry or apprehension perhaps, and physical symptoms such as raised heart rate and adrenaline may be contributing to other health related issues. We also understand that it is likely to affect us only temporarily until the source of our anxiety has passed or we have learnt ways to cope with it.

This workshop aims to give you a taster to a series of workshops, where we pose the answer to the questions 'Is it possible make use of anxiety?' and 'Is it possible to change it?'
