"Walking with soul" - equipping therapists, enriching practice
"Walking with soul - hopes and troubles" is the first in a series of CPD walking activities which combines mindfulness, nature and environment and community. This is a group activity (maximum of ten) which is open to counselling practitioners of all levels.
The purpose is to offer five hours of CPD and personal enrichment for therapists. It endorses BACP's ethical framework on care of self and the organiser's hope is that as you reconnect with self, you will enrich your practice as therapists.
This particular walk is approximately six miles and classed as "moderate" in walking ability. All the walks in this series will end at a pub or tea room where there will be the opportunity to enjoy lunch, and share or process our experience with each other. You will also be encouraged to consider taking photographs and beginning a journal (but this is optional).
