This workshop will help develop your understanding of the impact of rape and sexual abuse as well as help you feel more competent and confident when working with adult, male and female survivors.

The workshop will cover:

• The fundamentals of rape and CSA.
• The effects of rape and CSA on survivors, including the physical, emotional and mental impact.
• The impact on friends and family members of survivors.
• Some ways of working with clients that disclose.
• The importance of self-care when working with survivors.
