Transforming anxiety - an experiential group for women
Mondays 1.45-3pm from 9th September 2019.
£25 per session or £120 for all six weeks paid after the first session
This is a group for up to six women wanting to explore their anxiety and find ways of transforming it from a source of suffering into a healthier experience. The group provides the space to gain perspective on the origins and causes of each individual's anxiety, and to work supportively with these in order to reach a more autonomous, secure state of wellbeing.
As anxiety can be a strong limiting force in our lives, it creates inner blocks to recognising or acting upon both the causes of the anxiety, and the anxious feelings themselves.
Sessions use talking and creative approaches to:
- explore and unknot causes and symptoms of anxiety
- strengthen self-compassion
- offer practical tools for managing and resolving anxiety
The first set of sessions lasts for six weeks, after which there is the option to continue for the next set of six.
