Therapeutic womens group for victims of narcissistic abuse
This is an ongoing therapy group for anyone who has experienced or is experiencing narcissistic abuse, be it by a parent, child, sibling, friend or partner.
Are these familiar?
- Do you spend a lot of time analysing their behaviour?
- Do you feel like you are constantly walking on eggshells around them?
- Do you get blamed for everything?
- Does this person ignore your boundaries and treat you disrespectfully?
- Do they listen when you talk? Do they empathise?
- Do they insult you or criticise you?
- Feel like you are dealing with Jekyll and Hyde?
- Do you feel you need to hide parts of yourself to avoid dealing with their rage?
- Did you meet someone that love-bombed you and then suddenly ended the relationship without closure?
If any of these resonate with you, you might be a victim of narcissistic abuse.
This group provides a safe space to explore and learn about yourself with support from others, to share your experiences, to understand the dynamics of being with someone who is narcissistic, our part in this, how to deal with this and ultimately to be a place of healing.
How often?
This is an ongoing group that meets weekly starting 6th October 2022 and we break for the Summer in July 2023.
We meet weekly for 90 minutes on a Thursday morning 09.30-11 am.
We meet approximately 35 weeks of the year. Our breaks align with Ealing school holidays. This does not mean that our group is open to only those who identify as parents.
How long?
People stay in the group for different lengths of time. As one person feels ready to leave, someone new may join. I ask for a commitment of four sessions to allow time for you to see if this group is the right fit for you.
Where?
Online on Zoom.
How much?
Group members pay a little over £25 a session. This is paid via a year-round monthly fee of £80. This makes the group a less costly experience than one-to-one therapy.
How big is the group?
In order to ensure that the group feels like a safe space, I only allow 6-8 people to participate at any one time. This also gives everyone the time to have a chance to share (voluntarily of course).
