The official introduction to transactional analysis - TA101
If you have always wanted to learn more about transactional analysis (TA) and how it can be applied in your life, work and relationships, now is the opportunity to easily access these affordable and interactive workshops live online.
On completion of four three-hour modules via Zoom video, where you will enjoy sharing your learning experience in a small group, you will be awarded the internationally recognised TA101 certificate.
TA is a theory of personality and offers a range of models that can be used to understand communication and relationships (with yourself and others).
Take this exciting and affordable opportunity to learn more about the main concepts of TA.
In addition, on completion of the course, your certificate enables you to apply for the appropriate category of membership in EATA via the ITAA, International Transactional Analysis Association. (www.itaaworld.org).
Main concepts of TA
You may already recognise some of the main concepts of TA such as:
- Ego states: Parent – Adult - Child
- (Psychological) games: how we might relate to each other both consciously and unconsciously.
- Life scripts: early decisions as to how we live our lives.
- Life positions: ‘I’m OK – You’re OK'.
Over the four modules, (12 hours), with an accompanying personal handbook to record your learning, we will explore these concepts and more, in a variety of ways such as sharing ideas, experiential exercises and group discussion.
This course is packed full of rich learning, delivered in a relaxed and encouraging style and offers the chance to take away a really useful set of tools to use in your personal relationships, life and in your work, whatever your occupation or workplace.
The TA 101 is delivered by Jan Baker, a Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (PTSTA), and is a pre-requisite for any further training in TA.
