The official 2-day, 101 transactional analysis training course
The TA 101 course is the official introduction to transactional analysis. Its purpose is to provide consistent and accurate information about TA concepts, including;
- communication processes
- our sense of self and other
- psychological games we play
- our script, and how we live our lives through the messages we receive in childhood
Students who participate in the whole course are awarded the TA 101 certificate. This is awarded by EATA (European Association of Transactional Analysis) and is normally given and recorded by the national association in the UK - UKATA (United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis).
This course is for anyone interested in transactional analysis as a method of understanding communication, how relationships can go wrong when people unwittingly play psychological games, and personal life patterns. This course is also for people interested in using TA in their professional work.
Participants will have opportunities to explore their own personality and relationships via teaching and experiential exercises with colleagues in a friendly environment. The course will offer an understanding of child development, relationships and communication, of how we become the person we are, and how we can bring about positive change.
Carrs Lane is fully accessible for those who have difficulty with physical access - parking, access, and toilets.
