The key to couples work
138 Low Lane
Would you like to be more confident with couple work?
The key to couples work has been developed by Jennie Miller to provide a ‘how to…’ model, taking you from assessment through to endings.
Jennie defines couples work as any two people in a relationship looking for help. This ranges from a married couple or partners, lesbian or gay couples through to two members of a family such as siblings or parent/child.
The workshop includes:
- Assessment, intake and contracts.
- How to introduce the Parent Adult Child model to your couple.
- Effects the work can have on the practitioner.
- Working with the Drama Triangle and its antidote.
- How to manage boundaries and endings.
The training will also deepen your own understanding of yourself in relationship and if you work with individuals, their relationships.
The workshop is open to all counsellors, psychotherapists and practitioners both experienced and those just starting out in couples work who have an interest in this type of work. Prior knowledge of TA is not a requirement.
The workshop is taking place on the 29th & 30th September 2018 and costs £200.
