The Essential Book Group for practising Counsellors and Psychotherapists (Autumn 2012 - Spring 2013)

A Re…root CPD event with Rozen Rauf
Five must read books for peer discussion

We all have books we ‘should have’ read but haven’t found the time.  Rozen Rauf (Deputy Clinical Lead at Richmond Borough Mind) gives us that extra incentive by facilitating five Essential Book Group sessions each focusing on a key title relevant to strengthening ethical and effective practice.  Participants discuss the book of the month sharing their reflections, feelings and critical thoughts.

Free up one Friday evening, every five to six weeks, to increase your awareness and understanding.  Book now – places limited to eight.

Fee:  £30 for first event, next 4 in advance £95 or £35 PAYG

Where: Re…Root, 8 King Street, Richmond, TW9 1ND

When: 6.45pm for 7.00pm to 9.00pm

on:

19th October, 2012 - Addictive Personalities and Why People Take Drugs: The Spike and the Moon by Gary Winship

30th November, 2012 - 8 Keys to Recovery from an Eating Disorder: Effective Strategies from Therapeutic Practice and Personal Experience by Carolyn Costin and Gwen Schubert Grabb

18th January, 2013 - Psychosis as a Personal Crisis: An Experience-Based Approach edited by Marius Romme and Sandra Escher

22nd February, 2013 - Narrative Practice: Continuing the Conversations by Michael White
