Taking clients outdoors – an introduction to walking therapy

20th July 2019, 9.30am - 4.30pm
Counsellors and trainees
£60
Nlangley Counselling, Dymchurch Road, Hythe, Kent, CT21 6JN

This workshop has been designed for qualified counsellors who are considering moving their work outside and offering ‘walking therapy’ to their clients.

We will look at the psychological benefits of working outdoors. We will also discuss the practical and business implications of working outdoors in what can be at times an unpredictable and changing environment. As part of the work we will venture out and take a walk either along the canal in Hythe, or up towards the seafront, so you will need to bring your walking shoes!

As with all my workshops, refreshments will be provided throughout the day, but you will need to bring your own lunch.

*All events are designed to enhance, challenge and develop current practice and CPD Certificates will be issued to all attendees.
