This two day workshop in the official introduction into Transactional Analysis (TA), the TA 101.

Transactional Analysis is a method of understanding human behaviour, child development, and communication.

Transactional Analysis (TA) theory is widely used in several areas within our communities, for example education, organisations, counselling, and psychotherapy, and is particularly useful for those working within the helping professions.

Human behaviour and communication can be complex and, at times, easily misunderstood. The primary aim of this two-day course is to help you gain insight into how people communicate and behave with each other, both at a conscious and unconscious level. This course will enable you to gain a more in-depth understanding about yourself and your relationships, whether with a partner, children, or within the workplace.

There will be a combination of interactive teaching, discussion, practical and experiential exercise, and of course time for reflection.

TA was originally developed in the 1950s by Eric Berne, MD, author of the best-selling book “Games People Play”.

This course is an “Official TA 101”, which is recognised by the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA) and the European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA) as their standard approved introduction to Transactional Analysis.

On completion of the course, you will receive an official TA 101 certificate.
