Supervision group
New facilitated clinical group commencing in January 2020.
I have witnessed how a facilitated setting offers a creative difference to both individual or peer supervision. Group supervision enables a place for sharing good practice, but also creates a space that considers new ideas and learning. It also encourages self-awareness and reflexivity. The focus will be on discussing cases, exploring ethical issues, and considering ongoing and future development.
I have a long experience of working within agencies, statutory bodies, and private practice. I also work with a range of modalities; psychodynamic, systemic, and CBT. The client groups I am trained to work with are individuals, couples, families, teens, and young children. I also specialise in cancer-related issues and eating disorders. This group is for anyone who wishes to further their knowledge in different modalities and client groups. The group aims to work relationally and integratively with unconscious processes and group dynamics in a 'boundaried' setting.
Groups will take place monthly at offices located at Hever station and will be for a duration of 1.5 hours. Groups will be limited to a total of six practitioners, and the cost will be £50 per practitioner per group. Confirmation of attendance will be provided if required to be used as CPD/supervision for regulatory organisations.
