Successful private practice: A 2-day business & marketing course

Qualified and trainee counsellors and hypnotherapy practitioners wishing to set up and market their private practice.

10.00-16.00 = 10 hr CPD (5 CPD her per day (excludes: 40 mins & 2 x 10 mins breaks)

About the course:
Learn how to set up and market your private practice. Understand how to sidestep pitfalls and common mistakes. Day one focuses on the practicalities and legal/ethical considerations of setting up. Day two focuses on marketing and driving clients to your practice. Policies and procedures pack, website checklist, and much more included so that you can get started easily & smoothly.
Course contents:
Day 1:
Setting up: Why PP and what holds us back? Setting up the basics, short and long term business planning, accounting, banking, record keeping, how to negotiate and navigate renting rooms for in-person work, working ethically & legally online, therapist considerations (burnout, support, leave, working hours). How to make it all work in practice.
Day 2:
Niche vs generalist, who is your ideal client?, Online presence and offline presence, networking, reasons why you may not have enough clients and what to do, resources and Q&A. We will spend some time today critiquing practitioner websites and understanding what works well and what doesn’t.

Slides as PDF for both days, handout for seasonal marketing, website checklist, 25+ documents pack (including: templates for all policies, procedures, contract, clinical will document you will need to get going with your practice), free no obligation 1:1 call with therapist friendly accountant (tba at a time to suit you).
