Stop the clock: it's time for you
Do you put everyone else first?
Are you the glue that holds everything together?
Do you feel selfish if you think about what you might need?
Yes? Then now might be the moment to concentrate on you.
Put yourself first for a few hours. Join us on Saturday 15th June for this relaxed workshop and start building a little self-care into your life.
During the afternoon, we will:
- focus on why we need to do more than just give lip service to self-care.
- explore what self-care is and what it is not.
- uncover a little of what might stop us from practising self-care.
- start quietening our inner critics.
- create our own jar of self-care ideas.
All in a warm environment in the company of like-minded people.
I offer a welcoming space and a genuine interest in you and, to make sure you have the support you need during the workshop, limit the number of participants to six.
The workshop will start at 2pm with participants welcomed from 1.30pm.
We’ll round off the afternoon with a little Prosecco and cake at 5pm!
About Cathy Connan
I spent years juggling home and work life at the cost of my wellbeing. I was often angry, felt exhausted and generally unsatisfied. Today, after hard work, I take self-care seriously. A counselling psychotherapist, I support my clients come to value and care for themselves and, by doing so, improve their relationships, wellbeing and resilience.
