Stillbirth support group

We, (some colleagues and I) have just started up a Facebook Group called Lotus Flower Support Group. We are based in Leicestershire (Midlands).

This group is to support anyone who has been through a miscarriage or stillbirth and is struggling to cope, or just finding life it difficult because of what they have experienced.

This event will be our first stillbirth meet-up. If anyone would like to attend or just join the Facebook page, please feel free to do so at:

The Facebook page is a platform for people to join from all over the country, who want to be able to talk about losing their baby with people who understand and who need that mutual support and understanding to help them through the grieving process.

We will be running two meet-up support groups a month, one for stillbirth and one for miscarriage. 

Further events will be posted on the page for people to see. This is a private page and confidentiality will be key.

The group will be run by two qualified counsellors and is not a therapy group, but a support group where people will have a chance to share their experience, strength and hope with one another and where useful information and support will also be experienced. We ask that people attending would please let us know in advance if possible, but if circumstances mean you will only know on the day, then please don't let that stop you from attending.
