Sound foraging
Discover the forest in a different manner, through your sense of hearing. Experience the calming, surprising and joyful effect of sounds.
On Earth, everything can make a sound. Sounds can transport us to other places, and other moments. They can soothe and calm our bodies and minds. And at this time of year, the forest is offering us an array of sounds to enjoy.
We will walk to an area of the forest and will first take a moment to drop into our bodies. I will guide you through a sensory and mindful meditation to help quieten your mind and bring your senses to the forefront.
I will then invite you to listen in different ways to the sounds of the forest through different activities. And we will gather together to share our experiences and discoveries.
You will experience a different way of perceiving the living world, and you'll feel the deep relaxation that mindful time with nature can bring.



I'm a qualified counsellor/ecotherapist and a certified nature and forest therapy guide. I believe there are many ways to support our wellbeing and I run regular events to encourage people to reconnect with nature and community, for wellness and personal growth.
