Shine through - LGBTQ+ emotional support group
Emotional peer support group for those that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender* and queer aged 18+. Let's support you to find your sparkle and get back to enjoying life again.
Group Meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month: 6th and 20th March, 3rd and 17th April and 1st and 15th May.
- A place to talk about how you feel emotionally within a group.
- Somewhere to build your confidence, support network and breakdown the loneliness you may be experiencing.
- Where intergenerational conversations can happen.
- A confidential and non-judgemental place where you can talk about your everyday concerns.
For anyone who may be struggling with any aspect of gender, sexuality or the way you choose to sexually express yourself, Shine LGBTQ+ well-being group will offer you a place where you can discuss what may be causing you difficulty or discomfort together. Groups can breakdown isolation and loneliness. The group work can support you to feel more confident, and happier, and support you to build stronger resilience to deal with your internal and external struggles.

Fees, are on a sliding scale according to your income:
1:1 Counselling: £45 - £80 per therapeutic hour
Initial well-being assessment:
£20 via Skype or telephone
£50 for an assessment in person.
Group weekly fees:
High/medium income £25K+: £15 per week
Low income <£25K: £10 per week
Offers concessions where appropriate.
