Setting up in private practice
Setting up your own counselling private practice can be exciting but it can also be overwhelming in knowing where to start.
The day will equip you with a step by step comprehensive plan of what you need to put in place before you start seeing clients. It is a practical workshop which includes a lot of tips on how to make the process manageable.
We will cover information from marketing and advertising, pricing strategy, taking payment, record keeping, finding and keeping clients, referrals, finances, premises, policies and choosing a niche/special interest.
It’s delivered in an engaging way with lots of opportunities for questions so you can make it work for you. The small group format allows Caroline to tailor the course to the needs of each member of the course. It also offers you an opportunity to meet and network with other therapists who are in the same situation.
By the end of the day, you should have all the information you need to start making your private practice plans a reality.
Location: Beverley Counselling & Psychotherapy, HU17 0PY
Date: Saturday 5th October 2024 9.30-4.00, including lunch
Cost: £105 (or £195 if both courses if taken in conjunction with each other - see also 'Working as a counsellor in the real world')
Caroline is a BACP senior accredited counsellor and UKCP registered psychotherapist with over 20 years experience as a qualified counsellor.
