Setting up a successful private practice

London Counselling and Psychotherapy Services are currently offering this one-day CPD course to all trainee or qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who are interested in learning more about setting up in private practice. It is also a great course for those who have just started out and are looking for extra support and guidance in their private practice.

We are opening this online workshop to all skill and experience levels.

During the one-day CPD course will cover:

coming up with a practice name/identity
where to see clients
working online/during COVID
setting up websites
picking domain names
advertising and social media
initial contact with clients
client assessments
boundaries
what to charge and how to pay
keeping accounts and tax
We will also aim to cover any specific areas requested by you and the group to ensure that when you leave from the workshop, you feel more confident and assured in starting up your practice.

We also run a follow-up one-day workshop which specifically focuses on advertising and the way to attract more clients to your established practice.
