Self harm one day workshop
Understanding why adults and young people self harm and what we can do about it is an essential skill for counsellors and therapists today. Self harm is becoming more and more common. This one-day course will help participants to explore what self harm is and how we can distinguish between self harm and suicidal intent. We will look at resources that are safer to use and how to minimise risk.
This is a six hour CPD and certificates will be issued on the day.
10am - 5pm with a break and lunch break.
Refreshments will be provided from 9:30am and at break time. Please do not arrive any earlier then 9:30am.

About the host
I have worked with young people in schools across Kent. I have taught the level 2 counselling skills in Bexley learning centre. I have a well established private practice that offers one to one counselling to children, young people and adults. I am the proprietor of Kent Counselling Services.
