Silent Echoes is hosting a self-care workshop, exploring the following:
- What is self-care?
- What does it look like?
What are the benefits of using self-care effectively?
Join us for a workshop on self-care (7.00pm-8.30pm) for women of African and Caribean origin.
In this workshop, the participants will make a self-care jar which they can then take away with them (jars will be provided). The aim of the workshop is to encourage women to understand that the love they give to themselves from themselves is to be valued.
Silent Echoes believes taking care of your health on many different levels (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, relational) is essential. As experienced practitioners, we recognise energy depletes when emotional needs are neglected. Together as a group, we will fill the self-care jars with tips and affirmations, along with notes of kindness which can become part of a weekly self-care routine.
