When was the last time you treated yourself? Can you remember when you had time just for yourself, without feeling guilty? If the answer’s ‘no’, or if you put everyone’s needs before your own, it’s time for some quality ‘you time’.
Time out is not extravagant – it’s essential. It’s not indulgent – it’s an investment.
Neglect your own self-care and you’ll probably feel tired, if not exhausted. You might feel unfulfilled and lack enthusiasm. Excitement may feel like a distant dream. Learn from someone who knows first-hand.
Psychotherapist Cathy Connan learned the importance of self-care the hard way. This led her to create a half-day online workshop dedicated to helping others, like you, find time for self-care.

In a warm and accepting space you’ll:
- learn about the impact of self-care on your day-to-day life
- understand your personal barriers to self-care
- identify strategies that suit you for boosting your self-care
- prioritise your needs to balance the care you give to yourself and others
There’ll be no judgement, no pressure, just guilt-free time for you. This session will involve interaction with others as well as individual reflection. You can participate as much as you feel comfortable, and you won’t need to be anything other than yourself.
