“SOUP is a Social event that provides a unique Opportunity for people to mix and mingle making new links and Understandings with fellow and allied Professionals”.

Saturday soup is for professionals in the helping and caring professions who wish to share perspectives and ideas to refresh their own wellbeing and enhance the work they do.

We want to create an opportunity, which is organic and meaningful. We aim to network, create connections and cross referrals, generate ideas and provide business support in addition to reducing the isolation often experienced in our roles in health and mental well-being.

Saturday soup is an exciting opportunity to take time for yourself, connect with others, gather your thoughts, re-energise, replenish and regroup. Bring your laptops and connect in an office environment with breakout rooms to enjoy discussion, personal and professional development in the company of others.

Attendees enjoy a range of presentations from local business, topics in mental health and well-being, art, therapy, urban culture, social justice, entrepreneurs, education, social media, technology and much more.

Presenters share topics and answer questions from the group. You could present or showcase your own work. Attendees can share resources, enjoy micro lectures, mini-workshops and network, whilst enjoying tasty refreshments.

1st October 10am -1pm Saturday soup of the day.

Following our introductions and elevator pitches, we will be offering a mindfulness exercise followed by a brief mindfulness 'walk and talk'. These exercises will enable you to consider offering them to your own clients. As we move into Autumn we will be considering our own changing needs in our workshop.

A fantastic ‘wider’ networking opportunity at the town hall is included in the entrance fee. Bring a cushion or pillow and a small fleece or wrap with you. We look forward to seeing you.

Please book or just come along and bring a friend.
