Safeguarding bite size: Disclosure of non-recent abuse
This is the first of a series of monthly events each covering a different aspect of safeguarding issues for counsellors and therapists. Delivered via Zoom.
The first event explores working therapeutically with a disclosure of non-recent abuse and also covers the LADO process.
The event is a short presentation followed by opportunities for discussion, exploration of thresholds and dilemmas, and information about signposting and sources of support. The workshop covers working with disclosures in the family network and disclosures about a professional person.
Tickets and further information available via Eventbrite.
In order to ensure opportunities for discussion and a safe training space, numbers are limited. Please contact me directly if you wish to book this event direct for your organisation or associate group.
