Relaxation class/Resilience class
Something restful for the weekend
This relaxation class is aim to integrate into your lifestyle, anyone who is looking to unwind and let go for the weekend. Are you looking for a space to do nothing but rest, recharge, let go, rest the mind and body alike? Come and join in - all are welcome but do reserve your space as it is limited.
What to bring with you for the class:
Wear comfortable clothing and come with an open mind to be calm and rested after the class. You will be sitting for one hour, so if you need to bring a cushion for extra back support, please do.
What to expect in the class:
We will be seated, you will be asked to simply follow my instructions - an example, we will practice some breathing techniques, from time to time I will ask you to use your imagination - don't worry if you feel you won't be able to, you just have to simply follow my instructions. The instruction is delivered at a slow pace and if you miss some of it, it's okay.
What to expect from the class:
Remember this is a relaxation class, whatever it is you expect from the class I will gently ask you to leave it outside the class....what I hope you will feel after the class is to notice the difference within yourself.
Practice, practice practice
These classes are designed so you will repeat the ritual week after week. The more you practice, the more your body and mind will holistically learn and trust the process.
Trusting the process is important, trusting simple instructions will make it easier for you, trusting yourself in the process is letting go, and the effect is the evidence that you can do this.
