Relationship Break-up Support Group
Are you experiencing a relationship break-up?
The break-up of a relationship can feel like a lonely and isolating experience.
Some people feel that they can never be happy again. However, one failed relationship does not mean that a person cannot have successful relationships in future. A relationship may fail because of many reasons.
There are many people who idolise their ex to such an extent that they do not venture into future relationships. It is understandable to feel that you can never trust or love someone again. However, it is important to learn from the experience and grieve. If you can do this you can be happy again and the failed relationship can make you wiser and stronger.
It is possible to survive a break up and live life as before. It is very important for you to note that life needs to be lived and one failed relationship does not mean that you will not find happiness again. It is possible to get over a relationship and start life afresh with a new person. The only thing that you need to have is the right attitude and a positive approach. Life can be lived and you should have faith in yourself.
This group could help you to understand your feelings and enable you to move on with your life. We will meet weekly for 8 weeks for 1 and a half hours and I will facilitate the group. Sharing this experience with others who understand how you are feeling and are going through it themselves is a supportive and therapeutic way to move on with your life.
