Navigating family landscapes
Improve your relationships
Heal past difficulties
Relate more authentically
A creative psychotherapy workshop, navigating family landscapes shines a curious and compassionate light on our family relationships. We’ll discover how past and present dynamics in our families have shaped who we are and the lives we live today.
In the course of the weekend at the beautiful rural location of Braziers Park, you will be invited to make a visual representation of your family (drawing, painting, sand play with figures) to see and understand them more deeply.
Our choices are, more or less consciously, informed by the roles we have played in parent-child and sibling relationships. Similarly, the beliefs and values we have been steeped in from our first moments in our families and culture influence our worldview – for better and for worse. The work we shall do together in a group and in one-to-one sessions will help us understand these influences so that we can meet our lives with more clarity and freedom, as individuals and family members.
