Motherspace - an exploration of motherhood, selflessness and the ‘you' before children
The pressures of being a mum are phenomenal. There’s the version of motherhood the media would have us believe – and then there’s the reality.
Somehow we have this idea that mothers are (and should be) completely selfless – giving to everyone else before themselves. But striving to do so can not only leave you feeling exhausted, it can also have you wondering who you really are outside of this important - and most challenging - of jobs.
This is not a parenting workshop. It’s a workshop for you to access and reconnect with yourself.
It’s a chance to reflect on who you are. And it’s an opportunity to share with other mums, breathe a sigh of relief, and realise you’re not alone.
