Mindfulness is becoming part of our everyday narrative and the practice is growing in many areas of life as a way of responding to anxiety, stress, depression and many other health-related issues.

This new experiential workshop I am offering is designed for those who work closely with others, e.g. counsellors, teachers and support staff, carers, social workers, and alternative therapists.

No previous experience of mindfulness is necessary.

The outline of the workshop;

  • what is mindfulness? The benefits and the practice
  • mindfulness as a way of reducing stress and anxiety
  • cultivating positive relationships with self and others
  • staying mindful in different and challenging situations

The Friends Meeting House is welcoming and comfortable and close to the sea; a lovely location to learn about and practise mindfulness.
