Mindfulness camping retreat
Therapy Camp is a mindfulness weekend retreat based in rural locations.
As the title implies, these weekends are spent camping in tents and in rural natural environments.
The main ethos of these camps is to help the attendees experience 'here and now' awareness, adopt a Zen approach to thinking and free the 'self' from a cluttered overthinking mind, coming back to sensual experience and moving away from anxiety and stress.
Leaving everyday life behind and returning to nature, can have an intense and lasting influence on the 'self'. Time spent in camp helps individuals to embrace an 'inner-peace' through a shared 'hands-on' experience of vibrancy through contact with the natural world.
Camps start in May 2016 to August 2016. Max 10 persons per camp.
For 2016 the camps are based near Dalbeattie in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. A beautiful unspoiled location.
