Mindfulness based cognitive therapy / MBCT
Eight week course in mindfulness based cognitive therapy. The course follows a standardised program that has been evidenced through research and is practiced regularly in the NHS and personally by the trainer.
The training is open to all who wish to learn more about and to practice mindfulness or wish to use this in their own therapeutic practice.
Bryan is a mindfulness teacher and has run many courses for the NHS, privately and for local well-being groups. He is a qualified mindfulness and compassionate mind teacher with years of personal practice.
The course fee includes all handouts and a book with CD.
The course includes a practical introduction to mindfulness meditation and basic cognitive behavioral techniques. it is is useful in developing a clear head, wise mind, self-compassion and is effective in helping people to cope better with anxiety, stress, low mood and depression. If one practices regular mindfulness, it can also help with concentration and boost the immune system.
