Do you ever experience stressful thoughts or feelings around your family, friends, job, money, health, or life in general?

Does life sometimes seem overwhelming or depressing, and it feels there is too much to do and you'll never get everything done?

Or do you at times feel anxious about the future, your children, your health, your financial situation?

Or maybe you are just curious, longing to get to know yourself more intimately and develop more self-compassion and wellbeing?

Together we can discover that happiness is simple, while suffering is a lot of effort!

There are eight meetings that run on Sunday evenings, from 7-9.30pm at the Nautilus Rooms in Totnes.

  • 30th September
  • 7th October
  • 21st October

No one needs to have experienced depression or trauma to benefit from ‘the work’. Anyone who has an interest in peace and more clarity of mind can gain from this simple tool.

The work of Byron Katie™ allows us to identify and question the stressful thoughts that prevent us from enjoying life and addressing its challenges with clarity.

‘The work’ meets us wherever we are. When we immerse ourselves in the meditative practice of self-inquiry, we can discover the freedom, peace and creativity that lie beyond our conditioned stressful beliefs and assumptions about life, others and ourselves.

Through ‘the work’ as meditation we begin to bring everything within ourselves into the ‘light’ of conscious awareness and finally begin to meet it all with love and understanding.

‘The work’ is simply four questions and a turnaround, which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. It is so simple that anyone with an open mind can do it. It allows us to tap into our own wisdom, rather than relying on the knowledge, answers or experience of others.

This process is radical, profoundly deep and life-changing, so come and experience the power of the work!

The first evening is open to anyone – no previous experience is required, no commitment to do the whole course asked. After that it will be a closed group.

Cost:
£16 per evening.

£180 (£150 concession) for the whole course which includes one 90 minute individual session.

Location:
The Nautilus Rooms, 35a Fore Street, Totnes, TQ9 5HN.
