Midlife and the female body workshop
About this event
Helping women to enjoy emotional well-being during the physical changes of midlife.
Mind and body are connected, so when the body changes there is a psychological impact.
Menopause, age-related health concerns and appearing older are just a few of the changes we may encounter. Some can be helped with lifestyle improvements or medical support but some we need to learn to live with.
This workshop is for you if physical changes have affected how you feel about yourself - your identity, your self-esteem, energy levels, what you feel capable of or how others treat you. It is for you if your body feels unfamiliar and you are trying to adjust.
In this small group, I will offer suggestions and exercises to help improve your well-being, there will be space to share your feelings and hear from other midlife women.
It will cover:
- Understanding your relationship with your body
- How you think about it and treat it
- Tools for a better relationship with your body
All you need is a pen and paper and a quiet space where you won't be disturbed. A zoom link will be sent to you before the event.
I'd love to see you there!
