Join us for our co-delivery of the only Royal Society of Public Health Accredited Mental Health First Aid Trainer course, that is internationally recognised. This course qualifies you to become a Mental Health First Aider, with 3/4 CPD hours.

Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA) is a training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

What will you get from the course?

MHFA won’t teach you to be a therapist, but it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis – and even potentially stop a crisis from happening. Those in the helping professions are exposed to Vicarious (Secondary) Trauma, often on a daily basis from the work we do.

You’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill-health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.

Learn how to empower someone to access the support they might need for recovery or successful management of symptoms.

What’s more, you’ll gain an understanding of how to support positive well-being and tackle stigma at home, in the workplace and in the world around you.
